The Botetourt County School Board took action on two important items this week: 1.) Wednesdays will remain remote learning days, and 2.) 100% Remote Learners have the option to change to the hybrid schedule on October 19 (beginning of the second grading period.

The Health Department is offering clinics for vaccinations and testing in our communities. See the flyers for more information.

On Monday, September 14, at 8:40pm, an email was sent to Buchanan Elementary parents via school messenger regarding a probable case at school. If you have not received the email, you can find the letter here.

School Meals at No Charge for All Children! All of our students buying lunches and breakfast will receive them FREE from Sept 1-Dec. 31, 2020. To qualify requires a new meal application. Although school meals will be provided free to all children, school funding depends on completed meal applications. A new meal application must be completed if you have not already been notified that your student is approved for free meals.
